Amp 300 is a high-power Class A/B performance amplifier for commercial audio installations where higher output is required than the SmartAmp series provides — particularly for larger Cuboid loudspeakers and Sub series subwoofers. Delivering 1350W per channel into 4Ω, it is designed to work as part of the Optimal Audio ecosystem alongside Zone controllers and the full loudspeaker range. The Amp 300 uses XLR outputs rather than speakON, making it well suited to installations where XLR connectivity is preferred.
Featuring a compact and rugged 2U design, the front panel provides status monitoring for each amplifier channel via indicator LEDs. Flexible input connectors include two balanced XLR / 1/4″ Jack Combi line inputs and XLR or binding post for outputs.
Amp 300 can be configured for Stereo, Bridge or Parallel mode via a rear panel switch, making it straightforward to adapt to different speaker loads and installation requirements. Bridge mode delivers 2700WW at 8Ω for applications requiring higher single-channel output.
When combined with a Zone controller, Amp 300 reaches its full potential — the full suite of Optimal Audio loudspeaker presets and limiters becomes available, configurable via WebApp from any device on the network.

Optimal Audio Amp 300 Amplifier FAQs
Amp 300 is a 2-channel Class A/B power amplifier delivering 1350W per channel into 4Ω, designed for commercial audio installations where higher output is needed than the SmartAmp series provides. It is the right choice for larger Cuboid loudspeakers and Sub series subwoofers where SmartAmp’s channel power isn’t sufficient for the load. It can be run in Stereo, Bridge or Parallel mode, and connects to Optimal Audio Zone controllers to access the full range of loudspeaker presets and limiters via WebApp. Outputs are via XLR or binding post.
The right Amp model depends on the output requirement of the loudspeaker load. Amp 100 delivers 350W per channel into 4Ω — suited to smaller Cuboid installations, Up loudspeakers and the Sub 10. Amp 200 delivers 700W per channel into 4Ω — the right step up for larger Cuboid runs and Sub 15 applications. Amp 300 delivers 1350W per channel into 4Ω — the highest-output model in the range, suited to demanding installations with larger Cuboid 12/15 or Sub 18 deployments. All three share the same 2U form factor, input configuration and Zone controller compatibility. Your installer will advise on the right model based on the specific loudspeaker load and impedance requirements of the installation.
