Unlike most other commercial audio environments, worship spaces have two distinct and often simultaneous audio requirements: amplified speech for sermons, prayers and announcements; and music reproduction for congregational singing, live bands, choirs and recorded worship music. A community church with two worship spaces — a large main hall for the primary congregation and a smaller worship room for simultaneous services — plus two breakout rooms for children’s groups and overflow.
Both worship spaces connect live mixing consoles to the Zone 8 for amplified music and speech. The main hall has front and rear loudspeakers with delay alignment between them for even coverage, plus four subwoofers beneath the stage for full-range sound during worship.
Every area receives relay from the main service via ZonePad 1 controllers, with local inputs in the breakout rooms for independent activities. All areas also have access to central music sources.

DESIGN NOTES
Alignment delay in Zone 8 between front and rear speakers is essential in a hall of this depth — without it, rear speakers create an echo rather than filling the space.
Sub 10 x4 beneath stage provides the low-frequency foundation for contemporary worship music without visual intrusion. Breakout room relay via ZonePad 1 is the volunteer-friendly solution — a single button starts or stops the relay with no technical knowledge needed.
