ZonePad 8 is an elegant wall-mounted touchscreen controller, providing users with clear and intuitive access to the controls of up to eight zones within an Optimal Audio commercial audio system. With a vibrant 8-inch IPS touch display and tempered glass capacitive touch panel, ZonePad 8 delivers a clean, responsive interface that any member of venue staff can use with confidence.
ZonePad 8 enables intuitive control of source switching, volume and microphone levels, as well as triggering routines or message playback across up to eight zones. Individual zone configuration and permission settings allow the installer to define exactly which functions are accessible to venue staff in each zone — making it well suited to complex commercial environments where different areas need different levels of control.
ZonePad 8 integrates directly with Optimal Audio Zone controllers, with auto-detection on connection. Its quad-core processor and secure enclosure deliver responsive, reliable control across the full eight-zone range.
Power is delivered via POE from a compatible router or switch.
For venues where the installer cannot run cables, ZonePad 8 can be powered locally with an optional 12v power supply and connect to the network and Zone controller via WIFI.

ZonePad 4 uses a physical button and rotary interface and controls up to four zones — the right choice for smaller venues or central management points where four zones covers the requirement. ZonePad 8 uses a full touchscreen interface and controls up to eight zones, with per-zone permission settings that allow the installer to define exactly what each zone displays and which functions staff can access. ZonePad 8 is the right choice for larger venues, more complex zone configurations, or any installation where different areas need different levels of staff control from a single panel.
What are the connectivity options for the ZonePad 8?
ZonePad 8 can be connected via Power over Ethernet (PoE) from a compatible router or switch — a single Cat5 cable carries both power and data. For venues where running cables is not practical, the optional WiFi accessory allows wireless network connection, with a local 12V power supply providing power.
Does ZonePad 8 come with mounting bracket?
ZonePad 8 is supplied with a wall mounting bracket which can be directly mounted to a wall, or has cutouts compatible with mounting to various global back box sizes, including single-gang US, single and dual-gang UK and European.
