ZonePad 4 is an elegant wall-mounted controller, providing users clear and simple access to the essential controls of four zones of an Optimal Audio system. It connects to a Zone controller via Cat5 — up to 500m away — drawing power directly over the same connection with no separate power supply required.
It features a clean, intuitive touch interface for source selection and volume control across all four zones from a single panel position. Zone labels and source names are customisable using the included label template, giving venue staff a clear, personalised interface that reflects their specific installation.
Zone buttons on ZonePad 4 can be assigned as routine triggers — a single button press fires a WebApp routine on demand, whether that’s an announcement, a source change across zones, or a shift to a different preset. Routines can also run automatically on a schedule via WebApp; ZonePad 4 adds the option to trigger them physically when needed.

ZonePad 1 controls a single zone and is the right choice where staff only need to manage the zone they are physically in. ZonePad 4 controls up to four zones from one panel — the right choice where a central management point is needed, such as a bar counter, a reception desk, or a manager’s office. ZonePad 4 also adds the routine-trigger capability: zone buttons can be assigned to fire WebApp routines on demand, which ZonePad 1 does not support. In larger installations, both are commonly used together — ZonePad 1s in individual rooms for local control, and a ZonePad 4 at a central point for overview management and routine triggering.
