ZonePad 1 is an elegant wall-mounted controller, providing users clear and simple access to the essential controls of one zone of an Optimal Audio system. It connects to a Zone controller via Cat5 — up to 500m away — and draws power directly over the same connection, with no separate power supply required.
It features a clean, intuitive touch interface for source selection and volume control of the assigned zone. A local microphone input with 48V phantom power and a mono line input allow additional sources to be connected directly at the ZonePad — useful for a handheld microphone or a local audio source in the zone.
Zone labels and source names are customisable using the included label template, giving venue staff a clear, personalised interface that reflects their specific installation.

ZonePad 1 is a single-zone wall controller for Optimal Audio Zone systems. It gives venue staff in-room control of one audio zone — source selection and volume — from an elegant touch interface mounted on the wall at the point of listening. It connects to the Zone controller via Cat5, drawing power over the same cable, with no separate power supply required. A local mic input and mono line input allow additional sources to be connected directly at the panel. Zone labels and source names are customisable so the interface reflects the specific installation rather than a generic layout.
All three ZonePad models connect to Zone controllers via Cat5 and give venue staff in-room control of source selection and volume. The difference is the number of zones each can control from a single panel. ZonePad 1 controls a single zone — the right choice where staff only need to manage the zone they are physically in. ZonePad 4 controls up to four zones from one panel, and ZonePad 8 controls up to eight zones from a touchscreen panel — both suited to venues where centralised multi-zone control from one location is needed. In larger installations, a combination of models is common: ZonePad 1s in individual rooms and a ZonePad 4 or 8 at a central management point.
