SmartAmp 30 is an amplifier with built in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) specifically tailored to optimise the performance of the Optimal Audio loudspeaker range.
This four-channel 1U, 19”, power amplifier can drive both conventional low impedance and 70V – 100V loudspeaker loads. Internal DSP presets of Optimal Audio loudspeakers are selected by switches to the rear of the amplifier, which enable the appropriate EQ and overload protection settings.
The SmartAmp 30 can be configured to drive either low or high impedance loads at a maximum of 250W per channel, giving the options of a localised or evenly distributed speaker system.
The SmartAmp 30 is ideally suited to power multiple speakers and models from Optimal Audio.
Power factor Correction power supply technology enables universal AC mains operation, eliminating the need for local market specific power regulation and potential reliability issues. The power supply delivers consistent, regulated power worldwide with ultra low standby power consumption for EuP2103 and energy star compliance.

Optimal Audio SmartAmp 30 Amplifier FAQs
The SmartAmp 30 combines high power output, advanced DSP features, and flexible speaker connection options, making it a powerful solution for demanding commercial audio installations. Here are some key highlights:
- Exceptional Power Delivery: Delivers a massive 4 x 250 watts per channel (at 4Ω-16Ω impedance), making it suitable for driving large speaker systems or high-noise environments.
- Advanced DSP with Onboard Presets: Includes built-in DSP with Optimal Audio speaker presets for simplified setup and optimal performance.
- High and Low Impedance Compatibility: Supports both low-impedance (4Ω-16Ω) and high-impedance (70V or 100V) speaker connections, offering maximum flexibility for distributed speaker systems or complex setups with a mix of speaker types.
- Analog Inputs: Provides four balanced line inputs on Euroblock/Phoenix connectors, for connecting various audio sources.
- Compact 1U Rackmount Design: Maintains the space-saving 1U rackmount design for integration into professional audio installations.
Given its power and features, the SmartAmp 30 is ideal for large-scale commercial audio applications, including:
- Large event venues: Powering Cuboid speaker systems for clear and impactful sound reinforcement.
- Auditoriums and conference centres: Delivering high-fidelity audio for presentations, speeches, and background music in large spaces.
- Nightclubs and bars (high-energy environments): Driving speaker systems for clear audio over background noise.
- Large theme parks or entertainment centres: Powering speakers in various zones with precise control over sound characteristics in each area.
- Commercial outdoor environments (with appropriate speaker enclosures): Powering Cuboid speakers in outdoor areas like patios, sports complexes, or transportation hubs (considering weatherproofing requirements).
